Safe 4 Life Courses

Our Safe 4 Life and Teen Safe 4 Life courses aim to support victims and survivors of domestic abuse through an empowering program of group activities and one to one work.

When does it happen?

Safe 4 Life starts again Wednesday 14th September 12.30-2.30 (11 week course, 18+)

Teen Safe 4 Life starts again Wednesday 14th September 4.30-6.30 (10 week course, 13-19)

 

What is it?

Safe 4 Life/Teen Safe 4 Life are courses which run over a 10-12 week period.

 

Who is it for?

Women, over 18, who are victims or survivors of domestic abuse.

Young women, aged 13 to 19. The course was designed as an early intervention tool to prevent abuse happening in the future, however it is also suitable for victims or survivors of domestic abuse.

 

What will it do?

You will gain a clear understanding of relationships, both good and bad.

We will provide guidance on how to stay safe.

The course will make you feel stronger and better about yourself.

 

Both courses explore:

Domestic violence

Controlling behaviour

How we keep ourselves safe

Self-esteem

Sexism and equality

Assertiveness

The effects of domestic abuse on ourselves and our children

What a healthy relationship looks like.
