General Volunteering Statement
West End Women and Girls Centre is a grassroots neighbourhood youth and community centre for women and girls. We are powered by our community, all services are developed by and for our community and Trustees and staff are recruited from the community. We do not offer volunteering opportunities in our domestic abuse work as our services are led by survivors.
No matter who you are, what you look like, who you love, how much money you have, what your religious beliefs are or where you are from, if you identify as a woman West End Women and Girls Centre welcomes you. We provide a safe space for women and girls to ask inquisitive questions, sharing commonalities and growing community.
With the above in mind, please come and take part in the activities we offer, experience what we do and get a feel for who we are.
Then if you feel you have something extra or unique to offer, we are always keen to chat further.
We are always looking for volunteers for our Farm both individuals and groups, if you are interested, please contact the Centre.
